Now- lets see if I can guess the due date. I am guessing somewhere around May 27- that would put you at 10 weeks now. I am guessing you guys are more 'late announcer' types seeing the risk in annnouncing in the first trimester. BUT I could be worong!
OH RATS! I just figured out that you wrote the date under the announcement! WOW!!! I was REALLY close! I am goooood!! hahaha, I thought that was the date you posted it- seeing as it is just the 25th today. Yeah- I wasn't paying attention!
Ok. Ok. Confession time. When I originally looked at the post my thought was also "huh?" I accidentally figured it out when I went to click on the picture --it's labeled "bun in the oven." That's when I had my Ah-Ha moment.
The due date for those who didn't see it is May 22, 2009. I wanted this "announcement" to not be too obvious, but I'm a little sad that more people didn't get it. Thanks, Karen, for being the sleuth and being the first to comment and give away my less than stellar clue.
We just already have children and our brains have turned to mush! At least, that's my excuse. Anyone else? Treasure the brain you have now while you can.
I think it is one of the best announcements I've ever seen! I've been showing people who've never even met you! Oh to be so creative! I hope you feel better soon. And, by the way, I think your ultrasound actually LOOKs like a baby. I don't know if I'm seeing it correctly but at least I can 'see' something there.
Thanks, Karen! What a nice compliment. oh, and it IS a baby in the ultrasound. It was amazingly clear! it looks like he's facing down, but he's actually facing out towards us. Both his legs kept kicking out of view alternately, so the picture only caught one leg at a time. And I'm only referring to it as a "he" for convenience in writing. it's clearer than saying "it" all the time. In another post I might say "she" instead...
