I've made
this cake before and Scott has claimed it his favorite. So for his birthday I made it again. It's yummy. However, in the past I felt like it was missing something.
Decoration for the top. So I tried something new.
A little chocolate ornament. It's subtle and small, but I love what it did for the cake. Now I was left with a bunch of rejects... What to do with them?
Another kind of cake!

Wow, Britta! I love the embellishments on both cakes!
Very cute. What kind of cake is it? I'm so curious.
It's a pumpkin chocolate cake, so rich and moist. What really makes it, though, is the frosting. It's a whipped cream/cream cheese base with a little cinnamon, cocoa powder and lots of food coloring and a chocolate ganache on top.
OK, first I have to say that the cake sounds SO delicious--I want the recipe! Also, you are so very creative! I am wishing for time, energy, and ambition to do the things you do!
