...especially when you have a 7:30 test.
Keyhole iced over
Car door completely sealed shut
Entire car encased in 1/2 inch thick ice, some of it even thicker. This car isn't going anywhere fast. Luckily, Scott had a nice friend with a garage who picked him up for his test.

These pictures really don't do this situation justice. There was already about three inches of snow on the ground from the night before, and when the freezing rain came, everything was coated! Our car really was covered in a symphysis of ice. The cool part was that the storm which brought the snow and ice also had thunder and lightning to go along with it. It was a neat storm.
Ewwwww...
We barley just cleaned out our "garage" (really just an oversized shed) to put our car in before the storm hit. Whew! I'm glad it didn't look like that on our car this morning, yuck! Britta are you going out of town for the break?
That doesn't look fun. Hopefully this is the worst of the storm?
Symphysis. I think I'll look that one up.
I've been having to park my car, which I call the hoodmobile out on the street. I've been frustrated with a frozen lock but nothing like what you experienced. I was able to get the car door opened and use the car. I let Justine park under our car port on the side of our home.
