I didn't adjust these pictures at all. The sky here has gotten this orange 3 or 4 times that I've noticed since we've been here. These pictures don't even do it justice. It's always right before or after rain, and we've had plenty of rain. It's so cool!

SO cool! I'm jealous, which may be a little nerdy, but I totally am. I love eerie sky light. I mean, look what it does to all those colors in the 2nd pic! Wow.
I think these colors are similar to the old classic technicolor movies . . . like the remastered Wizard of Oz

How do you get so many comments on your blog? I'm not sure if people never look at our blog or if our posts just aren't interesting enough to get comments.
that is really cool. eerie and peaceful at the same time for me. i agree with scott too about old school movies. love it.
I'm also reminded of a song, but it's by Natalie Cole--"I was walking along, minding my business, when out of an orange colored sky. . ."
