This is one of the first things Jon ever made for me. I was atually kind of impressed, I don't bake that well, even though he busted my cookie scoop. The man doesn't know his own strength!
Great picture BTW! I like it a lot. I can defintely see it on display somewhere. Maybe you should have an art show.
Yum-m. Scott's cookies. Hey smell delicio-so- Need to get your receipe-in-been experimenting, I take it???? In fact, Dad is going to make some right now!
Scott - I blame you for my wanting chocolate chip cookies. Guess what? It's Sunday and no chocolate chips!!! This is very cruel.
(Ok, maybe I should have thought about this yesterday.)
We ALWAYS use Sister Probst recipe. They are not the same as when she makes them but it is the BEST recipe I've ever used. You just have to make sure that you measure the flour properly, that the butter is not melted, and that you take the cookies out of the oven before they turn completely golden. I think these are the most important steps to good cookies. I learned this from Jon.
yeah, so I'm pretty sure I stink at making cookies! I've used AAAALLLL the tips (seriously- just ask Brett) They NEVER turn out how I want them to! So- I've resorted to the pre-packaged take and bake Nestle cookies. They are ALWAYS perfect and soo yummy!! Sherri- maybe you should try that (it's all that works for me!!) Plus, we can have just out of the oven cookies on demand and only a few at a time instead of 24 at a time!
Really nice photo! I've noticed all the cook books and recipe websites make the food look appetizing by zooming WAY in. You've certainly got that mastered!

I never can get mine to turn out like Scott's or Jon's- or anyone's for that matter!

Thankx for the tips,Kristen. So that is what I've been doing wrong all these years????
By the way, I just let Dad do most of the cookie baking.
How did your cookies turn out last night, dad?
