We dread doing laundry at our house. Do you remember in Mary Poppins when the neighbors blast a cannon every hour that shakes the house? Everyone rushes to stabilize anything not nailed down. Well, we have a very similar rush every time the spin cycle starts.
One of us has to rush to sit on the dryer and stay there to prevent it from traveling across the room and banging into the wall. The whole house shakes. We can never leave the house when the washer is going. It's kind of an adventure to do the laundry, like in the movie Mr. Mom. Alas, it's an adventure that we would be happy without. Someday.I guess that's what you get when you buy your washer on Craigslist for $30!

i remember growing up that if we loaded the washer too much it would do that too. i always thought it was scary but cool at the same time.
I almost feel bad that I told you about this washer.
Hopefully when you move you'll find a place that has a washer/dryer that works.
Oh Emily! Don't feel bad. We definitely prefer this washer to going to the laundromat!
