We try so hard to keep her awake during the day (Grace hasn't yet got her circadian rhythm in sync with ours) that when she is awake during the day, we don't exactly know what to do. We are getting really good at spinning, walking, dancing, and bouncing, all with the purpose of soothing her when she's uncomfortable. Now that she is contentedly awake, Britta thought introducing her to a book was a good idea. I think so, too. And I think she likes it.

she seems interested! haha! what exactly are you reading to her!? Are you sure it is age appropriate! hehehe j/k
so cute.
have you heard of baby wise? it worked wonders with my babes.
here's the concept:
feed
awake
sleep
keep her up for as long as possible after you feed her and then feed when she wakes back up. i promise it works.
What a darling picture! She looks so content. It looks like you guys have it all figured out.
Reading is a great idea at any age...never too early to start. I love how Grace is filling out her clothes, obviously on a terrific diet!
her cheeks have definitely filled out, too. The doctor at her last appointment said that Grace was "perfect". She weighed in at 6 lbs 6 oz.
She's putting on weight to nicely! She's adorable. Congrats again!
What a sweet one. I can't wait to meet her.
I meant to leave this comment earlier, but sometimes I am a slow poke. Your little Grace is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Congratulations. And I am very glad she made it here safe and sound.
