On Sunday night Scott and I invited some friends over and we decorated this gingerbread house. Yea, yea, I know it isn't even Thanksgiving yet, but we couldn't resist. We've had the gingerbread house kit sitting on our shelf for a month already, begging us to take it out. It was lots of fun. Next comes the Christmas tree!

I am super excited for Christmas this year too...it's really bad, but I can't wait for Thanksgiving to come so I can move on to Christmas.
Cute! What are you two doing for Thanksgiving and Christmas? I am on a hunt for shatterproof ornaments to Sam-proof the tree as best I can. I don't want him to break something or hurt himself even though...check my blog later today. I'm finding it difficult to share Sam's birthday and Christmas. Hmm...
My sister says the best shatterproof ornaments are little picture frames that you glue string on the back of. The kids get a kick out of looking at their pictures. She also gets the outdoor lights that are shaped (like snowflakes or icicles) and put them on the tree. They're like ornaments that don't come off.
