Scott and I think the Michigan State Police cars look like toys with the one big red light on top. Are police cars like that for real in any other state? Besides as toys?
I think I have the connection. When I was a boy police cars were called 'cherry-tops.' So.... I know there are cherry orchards up in the Petosky area - at least there were miles of them the last time I was thru there. So, as a nod toward state booster-ism, the state has kept cherries on top of their police cars.
