We've celebrated Conference weekend like it's a holiday for the past two years. It's easy to do when 90% of the population are doing the same thing you are. Since this was probably our last year that we are able to do it, we threw our biggest cinnamon bun party yet. I made over 130 cinnamon buns and invited lots of neighbors.
It was a great success. When all was said and done, I think we had about 10 cinnamon buns left. We got our traditional bouquet of flowers, which I let Grace pick out. She wanted the "yellow roses." I LOVE that you can get 2 dozen of the
most beautiful roses around for about $16 at Costco. I was able to split it into two vases.
Then we got all cozy on the couch and started our marathon weekend.
It's getting harder each year to absorb all the talks with little ones vying for more and more attention.
Saturday evening, after our little Peterson Pizza and Priesthood party (courtesy of Pizza Hut), we celebrated Sarah's birthday with chocolate mousse!
Sunday was much the same, eating leftover cinnamon rolls, pizza, and watching more conference. It was a great weekend.

We missed you for the Pre-Priesthood Pizza Party with the Petersons. But we were thinking the same since we got Pizza Hut pizza too:)
