Happy Thanksgiving!

Who says people are ignoring Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas? They should meet our neighbors. Here's a taste: monster turkeys, pilgrims, yellow and orange lights all over...

Can you see Mr. Pilgrim winking in this one? I couldn't get a good shot of Mrs. Pilgrim from the street. These manekins are decorated differently for every holiday: zombies, pilgrims, Mr. & Mrs. Clause, lovers (for Valentine's Day). Scott refers to them as the corpses.

those are some funny people. Brett and I always wonder why people spend money on cheesy decorations... it's kinda funny. The one that gets me is the big blow up snow domes. I think it's just a WAIST of money!

those blow up things make me want to pop them!!! They scream commercialism. I apologize to any who may have those blow up lawn decorations and I promise that I would never actually pop them. You are welcome to decorate as you please.

Sarah, thanks for commenting! I know it was just saturday when I was at your house moping that no one had commented on my blog... you're very nice.

And thanks, Kristen, too. I personally think the blow up snow globes are pretty ugly. They obstruct the whole front lawn and house and never are as charming or attractive as a festive wreath or garland would be, or just lights. I love christmas lights.

Here's another comment for your blog. Sometimes I just can't think of anything "important" to say. I feel like I should say something but I just can't.

I've always wanted to secretly 'pop' those blow -up things too. Boy--this is what makes holidays exciting- all the decorations everywhere-they are great!

Is that a big pumpkin or a big spider in the middle?
