A friend of ours owns some horses and a pony at a local stable. Since they know Grace loves animals so much they invited us to come visit. Grace was delighted! On top of the horses and ponies there were a dozen or more cats.
She got to pet the ponies and horses.
She got to sit on a pony. She loved it. She sat there perfectly still, just beaming for about five minutes.
There was even a baby pony at the stable. You can't tell in the photo, but this pony couldn't have been taller than 3 feet.

So cute! We took Ella out to a ward member's house to pick blackberries and they ended up entertaining her with rabbits (that they breed for a restaurant in St Louis), a pony named Cookie that Ella can't stop talking about, kittens, chickens, tomatoes (for Ella and the chickens), etc. It was a lot of fun. We need to become better friends with them!
