Daily Dose of Sesame Street

This is one of Grace's favorite videos. We have a book with a picture of a bat. She points to the bat and starts to dance, then goes to the computer, requesting this song. Enjoy! (at least until they realize I posted it and remove access...)

I must admit, it's one of my favorites, too.

Horses, ponies and cats, oh my!

A friend of ours owns some horses and a pony at a local stable. Since they know Grace loves animals so much they invited us to come visit. Grace was delighted! On top of the horses and ponies there were a dozen or more cats.
She got to pet the ponies and horses.
She got to sit on a pony. She loved it. She sat there perfectly still, just beaming for about five minutes.
There was even a baby pony at the stable. You can't tell in the photo, but this pony couldn't have been taller than 3 feet.
Thanks Patti and Makell for inviting Grace to see the animals!

Photo Commentary: Lake Superior Cruise

Lake Superior

I love this photo. It tells such a great story. That's my dad as the photographer, my sister Amber as the entertainer, and my sister Kali's family is the subject. Every time we have a family reunion we all get family pictures per Dad. I haven't received copies of mine from him yet, but while Amber was being my family's entertainer, one of my other sisters shot this photo below.
We were at the North Shore in Minnesota. I love it there.
My dad has a cool panorama feature on his camera. He took this photo on the 4th of July.
Here are all the grandkids. Can you see all 17?
That was a trick question. #17 is hard to see, seeing as he's still in utero. However, if you have x-ray vision he IS in the photo.
